Good Morning β
This happened to me not so long ago.
I met with someone I hadn't seen for 15 years, and her opening was, "So .. what's happened with you?"
I grimaced and replied, "My dear, that would take 15 years to explain"
Have a great day Gigi π€πΌ
That's a great response tbh ππ
Wooooke

Guten Morgen lieber Gigi. π€ Personality problems level: French intellectual - why?
Don't read too much into a GM post, I'm fine π
A really great description of a feeling many might feel.
A bit one-sided selfish inward focused protectionist arrogance.
Tough journey to put up shields like that. I wonder what happened. π€
I liked the quote - brb, putting a disclaimer on my profile that "NOTES ARE MY OWN AND DON'T REFLECT THE OPINION OF MYSELF, AS I CONTAIN MULTITUDES"
I realize it wouldn't be you.
Just my opinion on a "quote".
It is an interesting statement which says more about the writer (and writers mindset) than who it is directed to.

Good morning ππ«ππ
Good meme.
Damn. Well said. After hundreds of thousands of miles of travel, i moved back to my home town during Covid.
I see folks from secondary school working at the drive thru, grocery store, and coffee shops. Our previous relationship somewhere on the spectrum of classmate to secondary friend group.
Sadly I usually see pain and embarrassment in their eyes for a life unlived.
Weβve both had struggles, but theirs were forced upon them and mine, with plenty of exceptions, I sought out. Itβs too big a gap to bridge and we both decide in an instant that we donβt know each other anymore.
I can so relate.
