It was an issue due to a sudden and significant fee spike, which led to some channels being closed. We're actively investigating the situation and will provide another update soon. While it’s frustrating, this action is a safeguard built into the lightning network.
Alby did not initiate these channel closures. What I can share now is that not everyone was impacted, and having multiple LSPs proved beneficial (this is precisely why we offer the option to connect with several LSPs). We’ll be sending a detailed explanation to those affected, including a follow-up email to discuss the matter further.
