I run one for my own node, lightning channels, Immich server, pihole, and a private git server.
What does Blockstream have to do with this
Some hedonists insist on not using it to terminate their JavaScript 🤨
GM. Woke up and stacked Sats.
Ignore the noise and stack towards a better future.
Made the mistake of trying to broach another conversation with extended family about Bitcoin. We’re still so early.
I gotcha. Is this with Swift code primarily and/or something else? I’ve only used AI models with JavaScript and Python code, which they seem to be reasonably good at.
Curious how you’re using it? I’m a developer by trade and manage a team for a large web application in the education space. We’ve seen a lot of productivity gains by using models like Claude and ChatGPT through GitHub Copilot. The whole vibe coding scene is a joke, as no model can effectively right a decent production ready application by itself, but I would say I’d question hiring a developer today who wasn’t at least willing to experiment with AI in their workflow.
Hot damn, I love the new visualizations introduced with the Knots update!
And he won't. He wants a good relationship with China and Russia, and that's not possible if you keep bombing Iran.
The world's first Trillionaires will be Bitcoiners.
As part of Bitcoin class of 2020, I really wish I had come across that article much earlier
Do Christians Need To Support Israel?

Great video! I need to share this with some extended family that has long regurgitated a lot of Christian Zionism propaganda
American here, and I really don't care beyond the sentimental aspect of liking the term Sats. That being said, most Americans are quite opinionated 😉
My 5 year old still calls all meat we serve "Chicken"
Gm. There's something very empowering about running your own Bitcoin node (knots), lightning node, and nostr relay. Self sovereign ftw
Genuinely interested to here everyone's takes on BIP-177. I'm not sure how I feel about it, but I recently started using BitKit on nostr:nprofile1qqstnem9g6aqv3tw6vqaneftcj06frns56lj9q470gdww228vysz8hqpzdmhxue69uhkzmr8duh82arcduhx7mn9qy2hwumn8ghj7etyv4hzumn0wd68ytnvv9hxgqgdwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkcam28zl 's recommendation, and they've gone all in on it.
Seems like it could be a positive change?
You just don’t understand what I’m saying. Which is fine. It doesn’t really matter if you do or not.
I think I do. I just don't think he owes anyone an explanation after what he's been through, self donation or not.
Dude has been in prison over a decade and is probably still coming to terms with that experience. Id give the guy a break on the optics bullshit.
Anyone know if nostr:nprofile1qqsyv47lazt9h6ycp2fsw270khje5egjgsrdkrupjg27u796g7f5k0spzemhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejz7qgwwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkctcprdmhxue69uhkummnw3ez6vfwde3x7tnpdenkzmnf9e3k75xqss4 Hub supports paying AMP invoices? Specifically through Alby Go? If so is there a way to turn it on? I got an invalid invoice error when trying to pay an AMP invoice generated through Zeus. Disabling AMP in Zeus fixes it.
I think I'm done with nostr:nprofile1qqsx2wyjt6lmvc05rrvv05r5hm3w3t7h0pcpmkyswrpd4ymd2u09tscpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduq3kamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu339e682mnwv4k8xct5wvhxxmmdqywhwumn8ghj7mn0wd68yttsw43zuam9d3kx7unyv4ezumn9wscn3xgh .
My wallet has been locked for the second time in two weeks and I'm unable to deposit via Strike or Lightning invoice. Their app has always had a certain degree of jank to it, and I've put up with it for the last couple years because it did seem like it was improving incrementally.
If anyone knows of an alternative, I'm open to suggestions, otherwise I'm going back to Spotify.
Hats off to you nostr:npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev for enduring a conversation with Steve. Good lord that guy is at least as an insufferable prick as Roger Ver is. Honestly couldn't finish listening past the first hour.

Cool. Did they detail the exploit, or is this a "trust me bro" situation?
Sweet. Yea, noticed that it's recommended for running Datum, but curious what else it offers.
Anyone here run a Bitcoin Knots node? Thinking of switching to it, but wondered how resource intensive it is and it's compatibility with LND or Core lightning
Yea not ready for it to be at 100k again yet. I need some more leveraged long retards to pad my bag.
They may be closed source, but they talk in depth on how their technical implementation and architecture works in a white paper you can find on their site. They also undergo regular 3rd party audits and publish the results. They've never been hacked or had customer data compromised.
Open Source doesn't mean better security or even that bugs will always get caught before being exploited.
They've been hacked multiple times.
Any thoughts and how more decentralization could be encouraged? Or do we just need some kind of black swan style event?
Brave has that feature built in
Enjoy your New Years Eve festivities and be safe!
You're my favorite. I need to buy some Zeus swag.
I use both. They serve different purposes. Programming languages are just tools, and all have different use cases... except Cobol... that one needs to be taken out to the shed. Looking at you legacy banking institutions. 🤨
I could take a crack at building one in React, no bounty necessary, as this would be good for me to get more exposed to the ecosystem. I wouldn't mind a little side project now anyway. You have some examples somewhere of the shape of the data I'd be getting back?
Jade is only "less secure" to a Coldcard if the Coldcard is part of a multi-sig setup made up of other geographically diverse hardware wallets. Otherwise if it's a single sig Coldcard it's more secure assuming the use of the 2of2 or 2of3 account types in Blockstream Wallet. It's cool if you dig Coldcards, but don't spread misinformation.
GM. Maybe I shouldn't be, but at this point I'm kinda shocked at how many are still playing with leverage when I see all the nostr:nprofile1qqspcm9j9xtt42lfyx7dghytvgfm9k4sjmuguja9v7x585v45xrg25gpzdmhxue69uhhwmm59e6hg7r09ehkuef0e53axx posts.
Thanks you for these words, as I think they carry weight coming from you. We need to move beyond the dismissive "not your keys not your coin" commentary, even if it's technically true. If the Bitcoin community does not build robust and reliable custodial systems for normal people, then institutions and the mainstream finance world will..which i think we can all agree would not be a positive outcome.
This is the way. I'll happily drive my 15 or old Ford every where. Flaunting wealth just makes you a target.
