There is the intellectual understanding of Bitcoin. That bitcoin should be worth an awful lot more than it is today. The rational mind can even understand why it's so under valued. But there can still be doubt in your reasoning. That you may be wrong about the impact Bitcoin will have on humanity & yourself.

Conviction moves beyond just understanding intellectually. It involves putting skin in the game. In taking action to tie your future with this thing. It's more about feeling than rational thought.

One can have conviction without understanding & one can have understanding without conviction. If I'm right about Bitcoin, both conviction & understanding will be helpful in the journey.
