Be honest with me please:

Should I wait until I have whatever equipment I need to put out a professionally executed podcast before I start? Or should I use what I have and quality improves gradually as I acquire what I need?

Just get started. There are plenty of people here who record podcasts/audio to answer questions. Content is more important than anything
