Connected Iris and Alby so I could use Nostr on desktop without entering a private key on every client I try out.
It was a big deal for me... it may not be for anyone else!
Oh I need to do this. I was wondering why I needed to ‘sign in’ with my nsec… didn’t seem right.
I’ve got alby setup, how do it do this?
Go on Alby. Go to accounts. Add your Nostr account. Try any of the clients on their homepage.
I liked the look of hamstr but I couldn't make it work, so using iris.
It'll ask you if you want to use your Alby to confirm you are you without inputting your private key.

You should try sending a couple of thousand sats to your Alby wallet & setting a budget for a client.
Go zapping with getAlby as the wallet.
Funded it and I've been zapping, but not sure on how I set the budget.
Does zapping notes from Alby work instantly for you guys? I've connected my Bluewallet to Alby and it's slow, produces an error message... but the sats flow eventually.
Thought I'd replied to this already, but can't see it.
Anyway...just fund the Alby wallet from your Blue wallet (with however many sats you're comfortable with) and then it'll work immediately
