The turkeys we got yesterday are part of my in-laws' flock. They've gotten hit hard by predators at their place and were worried about it at ours as well, so my father-in-law and nephew set half a dozen traps last night.

I felt a little bad killing it, because it was a very big, healthy, handsome coon and I don't yet have the knowledge to make them into hats. My kids would like coon hats.
