I used to think these types of things were gimmicks on tools…

Until I needed a square to draw a 90 degree line and I saw it printed on the saw.

Any port in a storm!

I believe carpenters used this "trick" for years. Those things do not have the same precision of a Starret square, but for framing and building houses it's plenty precise 🤙🏻
