Do you want it to be open to the public so absolutely anyone could post any sort of note they want, and you would therefore have more responsibility to monitor it for illegal content, or do you want to limit who can post to it in some way?
But will that influence which software I will use? If yes I will need to reflect on that today. 😁

It will influence what specific relay implementation you go with, or at least what settings you use, for implementations that have more flexibility.

You can get it up and running really easily, and you can make some changes to who is allowed to write to it. Importantly, you can change those settings without having to spin up a whole new relay. I would love to see a web-of-trust option, though...
