We will have to wait and see
The interesting thing as I see it initially, is that Nostr has no CEO, it's a protocol, so how do they fine the tech provider?
Ie, and hence we're all so excited about Nostr, it's much harder to police
The government could put the pressure on local Nostr resource providers, if there was a client or relay based in Australia, but a user can just use another client, and additional relays
Saying that, as I know, Nostr is not private, ie there is plenty of user data to track where they are, so perhaps a government could target an indiviudal
But that is user by user and would require huge resources, and therefore I assume be much harder to do
Good debate! I'd love to know the answers
