I was thinking it, but you said it. However, I'm optimistic.
Much of my optimism for the younger generation comes from my engagement with many of the #Nostrplebs I engage with here.
Many of whom are doing much more important work at their age then what I was doing. I thought I was doing important work. But it was all....well let's just say in retrospect I was a piece on the gameboard.

I too have hope, by lifting (role modelling), supporting and educating we make the changes we need in our little slice of the world.
