Oh yeah, nip 32 wouldn't work, but a kind 18-like thing would (as long as you didn't publish the original note). I was thinking of this because NIP 29 `h` tags have this problem.

The problem is the Twitter clone model treating everyone like they're an influencer robot that has only one interest.
Whatever tag, wrapper, targeting mechanism you devise, if an app wants to show you every public post of someone you follow, they can.
if you're posting in public and I follow you regardless why wouldn't I want to see what you're posting? even if it's to "topic"
In the Follow model, that's what tends to happen yes.
No idea, if people *want* to see everything from all those Follows. I tend to think they do not.
I personally don't want to follow anyone tbh.
I just want to tune into specific communities when I want or need to.
