Exactly, my mother in-law drinks Starbucks daily. From what I hear, her custom coffees (loaded with likely soooo much junk) are around $13CAD each.

I buy a can of McCafe for $22 and it lasts my wife and I about a month.

She can afford it and doesn’t have to think about money.

Although I could afford it, I just can’t wrap my head around spending that much on a single coffee.

Forsure, rising costs aren’t helping, but even in a “good” economic situation, people still spend wildly.

It’s a credit economy and has been for a long time. They want the instant gratification.
