yeah, it is easy to get discouraged. it feels like for people to understand Bitcoin, they first have to understand money which is super boring for most people.

It's laughable how early we are. Fun fact: Americans think that Germany has more adoption. We are in fucking bitcoin stone age. Nobody knows nothing about bitcoin.
