It gets addicting...I just had more power outlets and breakers installed in my server room at the house
Lol wow. I’m not sure I’ll get to the room size stage. This will be my first attempt. Planning to move my node and possibly start a lightning node. What else I’m not sure yet.
It's more of a closet than a room but give me time and I'll add more lol. Open source software is amazing. If you can think of something you use on the internet then there's probably an open source replacement you could host yourself. Add enough of these up and you'll have a whole range of servers running.
Oh for sure. I’m looking at running embassy OS as a starting point. Think I might host a website while I am at it
I use mine both personally and as Uncle Jim model. By providing services and/or getting family going with their own. Just getting someone on VaultWarden is a big step up for their sovereignty.
#[4] team is excellent and it’s a model that can bring FOSS to the masses.
