I’m getting some pretty good efficiency with Braiins. I’m happy they got the firmware to work with Amlogic. The autotuning feature is very fast with that cb.

Local only.

Very nice.

Wish I had a place where I could run of these.

Main reason I stopped mining was the jump from away from 120.

Yeah getting 240 setup specifically for mining is kind of annoying but totally worth it since it reduces your amp load. I do wish they would update the S9 with a better w/th chipset for easy home mining. I still run an s9 in the garage but only during the winter when it makes sense.

Yes yes it is especially when your old ass house only has 100amp service. Lol.

I stopped buy miners at s7+….

Although I have been putting in some serious thought about solar mining.

Which is what I was going to do back then…. But things never panned out with my llc.

🤷🏻‍♂️ not my fault.

I’m lucky enough to have 200 amp, so I could have more miners but the heat produced is pretty crazy so I have to get better at managing it. Solar mining would be interesting if you are trying to get off the grid, but honestly comed has a great hourly pricing program where I usually pay better 2-5 cents bet KWh most days.

Better efficiency when you cut out the DC, AC, DC and keep everything DC.

Comed does have some good as pricing. My biz had 200amp & had a contract with comed for lower believable prices lol sub 4¢ all the time.

When did the AMLogic update drop for local installs? I don't see any news from them on their telegram. This question gets asked 10000000x a day.

Not local install of Braiins I had to run a VPN and have it remote installed. I believe he was talking about a local or hosted miner.

Yeah I was referring to the miner it’s self.

You didn’t install brains yourself?

Do you plan on replacing the bitmain control board?
