Mornin' Nostr...
First issue with sMiles app this morning. Showing 0 steps but balance tab shows 12 sats for activity. Should be 1 or 0 this early. I would estimate I took around 600 to 700 steps on more normal morning route. So it recorded 0 steps but shows sats earned...something is off.
Weird.

Hope the app didnt crap out on me though...I have been enjoying it. Never thought I would like tracking "steps" but its been fun.

Jim are you on android or iOS? I'm on android and this worked for me. Make sure the Google health/fit app is counting your steps and then make sure the Google integration is working on smiles.
I think the app doesn't actually count your steps but just reads from an integration with Google.
On android...its worked flawlessly up until today. Settings show its still linked with google fit.
Pretty lazy when it comes to stuff like this. Plan now is to either a) uninstall and reinstall/log back in or b) see what happens tomorrow.
Maybe its a sign to detach from the global data harvesting machine?
Yeah it's kinda creepy that it connects to Google fit.
