spent the evening fixing the lx450. new window rubber runs. got 3 of the 4 windows done. also tried to fix a weird speaker. I have no idea if that fix will work considering it's an intermittent issue of it cutting out. keep our fingers crossed.
I always perform a test drive every time even if it's not drive train related. never know when your going to cause a nasty rattle or something.
This time around I had a friend come alonga praying mantis.

I wound up getting a Dremel. I found a Dremel from an estate sale for $10. Works great. I didn't realize until I got it home that it's from 1987 the receipt was in the case and the chuck says West Germany on it. I used it to get some carbon off a cast iron waffle iron, no issues.

I have a rotary tool from Harbor Freight that needs to be replaced. The plastic is cracking around the frame.
Do I go with another Dremel like tool or go with a more powerful air powered Die Grinder.
Most of my uses are grinding off rusted nuts/bolts from areas on my car that a regular grinder can't reach or might be dangerous to use. I have used my Dremel in the past to do engravings, detailed sanding and cutting plexi glass. Budget is around $100 plus or minus. I do like that the cord is more useful and easier then lugging an air hose around. Cordless would be great, but too expensive for a tool I don't use all that often.
I understand you can use Dremel attachments with the Die Grinder and get more use of it. The Dremel is around $99. THis kit from Vevor is only $70 with both an angled and straight grinder:

Wow! that picture is amazing. What a view to wake up to.
GM, today is a coffee day for sure. I was up until 1:00 AM last night replacing my front end links on my Mazdaspeed3. It was a successful night with no broken bolts but man it was HOT and humid. Lots of grease, lots of sweat. I had an early morning meeting today at 7:00am. Hence why I am holding onto this coffee for my lifeline this morning.
At least the car is drivable again without the banging of a broken end link. It always feels good to accomplish something like that and know that I just saved a boat load of money that would have went toward the mechanic.
I'm not 100% confident I adjusted my new adjustable end links correctly. Some YouTube videos are in order to verify today. If anyone has adjusted end links on a lowered vehicle, some advice would be great!

It's a drug, it certainly hits everyone differently. Getting enough sleep the night before is more important but not always possible. I was up until 1:00AM last night replacing sway bar endlinks in my car and had an early 7:00AM meeting. So it's a coffee day today.
I do this a lot when I feel A cold coming on
