Replacing coffee with a green tea 🤔 Thoughts ?
Discussion
Good luck 🍀
It has advantages, but personally I prefer coffee. 😅 The l-theanine in green tea is a really nice.
Find good quality looseleaf tea if you can. Dragon Well is usually a great variety that isn’t too hard to find.
If you need an espresso equivalent, consider matcha.
Matcha is 🤮
I’m thinking to replace with Pu’er 🫖
So if you’re open to non-green teas, then, I have to recommend oolongs.
The most amazing floral and fruity flavors naturally in tea leaves are somehow brought out in high quality oolongs. Transcendent experiences 💯
Not top shelf but high enough to make me go “this is amazing” and relatively easy to find is Guan Yin oolong.
No
My buddy swears on his gyokuro!
Try it. I have been doing it for years. It can give you a zen-like peace of mind and clarity. Don’t do tea bags though. Buy Japanese green tea and watch a tutorial online how to prepare it. Matcha also nice, but definitely more difficult to prep and stronger. Health-wise green tea is supposed to be cardio protective while coffee is more protective against cancer, if you trust any studies these days… so why not do both… :)
How about both?😸
There are coffee-alcohol, tea-alcohol, tea-coffee combinations in Japan convenient stores
This is how I roll: coffee in the morning and green tea the rest of the day 🫡
I do this a lot when I feel A cold coming on
Chicory maybe...
First time hear
People told me that is replacement for coffee. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicory
Chicory is a good ersatz of coffee but doesn’t quite offer green tea’s benefits at all.
It was very popular in France and Italy, now fading because it’s a natural product with little to no industrial fucking shit inside.
Still largely available in supermarkets, this brand is hyper popular.
Good for children and adults alike
why give it up? why not mix it up? I usually drink a cup of green tea one day. a cup of black tea, another a cup of coffee, another iced coffee another spice it up life's too short
I feel like coffee gives a quick temporary boost but then hits hard and slows down so I have to drink more and more
