Can people withdraw bitcoin off robinhood? I sincerely have no idea.

Many people I convinced to stack the corn bought there, and they’ve asked me about self-custody, but I don’t know off-hand what to tell them.

These days, though, my go-to is still bluewallet

Blue wallet is fine for a view-only wallet of a club.

But long term cold keys should always be that.. cold.

One can buy from nostr:npub1cn4t4cd78nm900qc2hhqte5aa8c9njm6qkfzw95tszufwcwtcnsq7g3vle @ strike.me and have peaceful mind about their asset and of course can self hodl too which is the best

For mobile bluewallet is good, for laptop/desctop I would reccomend Sparrow #Bitcoin wallet https://www.sparrowwallet.com/

Yes all great options. But can robinhood stackers withdraw? I may have to test because I just don’t know

I don't know bro, I haven't used robinhood. I have used Binance and I haven't got problems with it but migrated to strike.me because it is better option. Cheers bro 🤙

If they're that basic, just tell them to sell it on Robin hood and buy back on strike, venmo, cashapp, etc.

The answer is yes! I still have stocks on Robinhood and have occasionally over the years withdrawn bitcoin from there.

TBH, what I would recommend if they’re comfortable with that is getting a bitkey for cold storage. They can connect it right to Robinhood to withdraw (also several other exchanges as well). It’s super easy and great

Okay, that's great to know! In normieland, I've just seen so many people buy their first bitcoin on robinhood (along with a few others that happen to have green arrows :/ )

And yes, bought a bitkey for review and it's a very smooth device that abstracts away a few elements and has good UX.

Would love to see any battle testing that folks could do on it to really see how it stands up on privacy, security, etc.

BlueWallet has a place for learning about bitcoin but a hardware device is better for limiting the risks of keeping everything on a hot wallet. BitKey, Passport, Jade, ColdCard. It’s with the cost to get it right.

Yes sir, but these are normies. One step at a time. I do like the bitkey though. Just got one to test and it does seem like the perfect self-custody solution for the minimally tech inclined

I recommend nostr:npub1ex7mdykw786qxvmtuls208uyxmn0hse95rfwsarvfde5yg6wy7jq6qvyt9, imo they are best in class for cash deposits, regular automatic buys (fee free after 1 week) and lightning wallet.
