The answer is yes! I still have stocks on Robinhood and have occasionally over the years withdrawn bitcoin from there.
TBH, what I would recommend if they’re comfortable with that is getting a bitkey for cold storage. They can connect it right to Robinhood to withdraw (also several other exchanges as well). It’s super easy and great
Okay, that's great to know! In normieland, I've just seen so many people buy their first bitcoin on robinhood (along with a few others that happen to have green arrows :/ )
And yes, bought a bitkey for review and it's a very smooth device that abstracts away a few elements and has good UX.
Would love to see any battle testing that folks could do on it to really see how it stands up on privacy, security, etc.
