No, because most normal people want a custodian. As long as you have the option for self custody, it's not a nightmare.

That’s a real problem if Bitcoin is humanity’s primary measure of value, a force outside of time, a salvation for Western man, The Remanent, etc.
If it’s just something everyone has to buy oranges at the farmer’s market, pay back friends abroad, and the occasional medicinal cigarette, then neither the lightening glitches, or 15% weekly volatility matter too much.

None custodial is an absolute must, but KYC/None is more open to debate.
Most of the people will not be using coinjoin or swapping their stack! All of the KYC exchange has plugged chainanal and your transactions are being tracked and tight to your identity ! It’s out of debate that we have to build more P2P exchanges and encourage people to acquire that way!

I'm a bit conflicted on this tbh. I belive that you should have both sats. KYC and none. Unless we move to a "Bitcoin Standard", and I hope we do. Value for value, all good, paid in Bitcoin. If we don't🤷🏻♂️, you're always gonna be fucked because tHe gOVeRnMenT wants to know, hey🤔, where you get these sats man?? No KYC? You can't dispose of them, for your own safety of course. The Bitcoin Standard is the ideal, if that doesn't come to pass, you might be fucked with "Useless" coins. I know "Plan According" is a bit of a maxim but I'm just hedging my bets. Have both. Just my 2 sats worth. If it all works out as we hope, great, all sats can be disposed of. If it doesn't and the cunts in charge remain in charge, they can and will tighten the noose.
