Nostr and Freedom Tech with my pseudonymous friend #[0]

“Nout” moves around the internet without revealing his true identity as a way to learn about, test, and to help ensure these tools for freedom are accessible to people who may have an urgent need to use them.

Why is Nostr exciting if it’s not privacy-oriented?

2 types of information:

1. Information that should never get exposed

2. Information that should never be suppressed

Each plays an important role in Freedom Tech. Nostr is focused on the second.

Thank you #[1] for hosting me!

This was a lot of fun and we covered a cool set of interesting things - sometimes I had answers, sometimes I didn't 😉 And next time I'll hopefully sort out the audio too...

when the quality of information is so interesting, we can slog through the audio imperfections.

but yeah, we’ll make the audio shine even more next time! 🎤🤙

Really enjoyed this conversation #[2]. So many ideas.

Definitely tracking you guys (not too closely #[1] lol!)

DK, I came across: https://blogstack.io/ & https://habla.news/ ... be nice find your material there too one day.

thanks for listening, Bradford!

ive clicked around on habla. (we featured it last week on our Nostr News show)

i wasn’t aware of BlogStack. is it an aggregator of long-form or a publishing tool itself? from mobile i can’t tell how to publish.

anyway, i’m a fan, but need a bit more progress on the tooling before i can move off substack to these alternatives, but i look forward to the day! 🤙💜

Thanks again! Yes- still v. early days ... enjoy the quick sign-in + sleek layout.

Not to sure of the mechanics behind it.

But nice to promote the growth of the ecosystem, particularly where the offering looks potentially mainstream competitive.
