Why would bitcoin price drop on the news?
Because all short term price moves are noise.
Probably doesn’t have enough depth to sustain the move, and because people are “uncertain” whenever something happens then that’s when the short term corrections gets painted.
If we now don’t know who the candidate is, then probably a bunch of emotional traders now unsure about election outcomes and taking profit or clearing their options.
