Tangential, but I've even had bitcoiners belittle me for criticizing the healthcare system. Turns out some people in this space want to hear "the right shibboleths," too lmao

There are most certainly Bitcoiners that have not studied economics (Austrian) at all. I actually like the fact that Bitcoiners get stereotyped, but once you’re around the community long enough, you realize how different everyone is. The fact that 90% of the culture wars are people arguing over group identities just makes me laugh harder.
True, I've found that bitcoiners have little in common with each other. If there is a group identity, it pretty much stops at "we like the coin." The stereotyping is a very handy litmus test--people in the know realize that there is little consensus amongst bitcoiners
as an aside, it's quite funny how there is a hebrew word for "in group language" isn't it?
