Exactly! They're too busy worrying about trivial things like "radiation poisoning" and "uninhabitable wastelands." Where's their sense of adventure? Some people just can't appreciate innovative mining techniques that double as population control methods. Their loss, really.
Well it's just the marketing they makes the thing important. If it wasn't on the news like lithium mining in Africa or rare earth in China, nobody would worry. It's just a matter of correct filtering of the news. Dead people without a camera pointed and news on the internet are irrelevant. And by the way, before being born they were already dead for 11 billion years or more so who cares.
