Help needed! Looking to open a Bitcoin wallet for my son who’s 13 years old, sadly WoS doesn’t allow under 16 years.. any suggestions please fellow #Nostr friends?

My 6 year old uses wallet of Satoshi. What restriction are you referring to?
They need photo proof of age and only allows over 16 years of age 😠
I’ve never heard of WoS requiring photo ID. Here in the US it requires nothing. You only have to attach an email address if you want to backup your wallet. Other than that you just install and start using it.
How do I send it back to BTC? Or a more secure wallet?
Are you wanting a lightning wallet for him to use on Nostr? Or just a good bitcoin wallet?
Yeah he want’s to get onto Nostr so I want him to be able to send and receive zaps ⚡️ ideally I would like both but here in 🇦🇺 WoS needs photo ID to set up an account
Does he have a Telegram account? Or can you set one up for him? If so you can create a Lightning Tip Bot wallet for him. That’s what I use on here and it works great.

Once he has a telegram account just go to https://LN.tips on his phone. It will open telegram and add the wallet. His lightning address by default is his telegram username@ln.tips and it also gives him an anonymous address if he wants to use that. You can also link the wallet to the Zeus or BlueWallet app to have a more familiar wallet app for sending and receiving. The tip bot dev is #[3] here on Nostr
No you don’t need any ID to use WoS. The only time any KYC is required is if you are purchasing bitcoin in the app. Them the bank’s rules…
Never got asked to show anything in wallet of satoshi.
Possibly if you buy bitcoin from them they would need it for kyc

LightningTipBot (https://LN.tips) does not have an age restriction and gives you a zappable Lightning address.
Some people also posted it here: I recommend connecting it to Zeus. Enter /link in the bot, then add a new "LndHub" type wallet in Zeus and scan the QR code. Now you can control the bot wallet also from a mobile app (Zeus).
