The use of sunglasses probably aligned with the use of thousands of other products and changes at the same time, alongside the slow and steady increase in rates of cancer.

In other words, you could likely correlate thousands of things along these same time periods and also have a pretty decent narrative for why any of them could be unhealthy or have consequences.
