Just now talking to a friend about the concerning situation with SVB, regional banks and Credit Suisse…

Him: “Oh don’t worry about it, things will be fine. This sort of thing happens every few years.”

This is a very accomplished, self-made man who built an extremely successful insurance business from the ground up!

I guess the building being on fire isn’t enough for most people to see it. They are going to need it to burn to the ground to start feeling concerned 😓

Problem is he’s basically been right forever…and maybe for many more decades…I hope not but kick saves and can kicking is the norm-and most don’t care about what we see🤙

It's a hidden cost (one of many) of the system. Good thing we have a way to step outside of it when/if we choose to.
