You buy it from them on telegram. You can put whatever name you want for the billing. They ship it to the address of your choice. They don’t offer hosting services last time I checked though

It looks like they have hosting options now

Will look further into this

Is the L7 worth it, pre-halving?

Still a noob but eager to get into this

Unless your wanting to mine LTC or Doge I don’t think you’ll want the L7

yikes, why would he want to do that?

Stay humble and stack Doge

You'll be very humble indeed when Doge goes to 0 against Bitcoin.

😂😂

🤣🤣

Is it not a Bitcoin miner? Or just not efficient? Perhaps I’m thinking of the wrong thing. Lol def have zero interest in mining shitcoins

Don’t think the L7 mine Bitcoin.

Check:

no, it's not, an L7 is a Scrypt miner :P

Oh scrypt miners can’t mine bitcoin. You want a sha-256 miner like s9, s19, etc…

This is why I’m here 😂😂

Thanks guys

If going for 1 machine, is S19 still the “best” with regard to hash rate, longevity, etc.?

It’s all about efficiency. The newer s19xp is more efficient than the s19. The s19 is way more efficient than the s9. The more efficient the miner is, the pricier it is.

On the other hand an s9 is super sturdy and the replacement pieces are easy to find. Very easy to repair.

Really depends on your budget too

If you want to look at the efficiency : https://www.asicminervalue.com/

This is helpful, thank you!

Unfortunately seems like every option will land in the negative without hosting.

But maybe that’s the “premium” for kyc-free sats mined at home 😂

just an FYI, the S9 is not profitable and barely produces any sats. i only use them to heat my house in the winter or at random times during the warmer months if my basement is too cold.

that doesn't mean that it's not worth it to buy one for $150 to learn and play around though. use it to figure out how to manage sound and heat and see if you want to get into something a bit more cost effective and also pricier.

Exactly what I did. Got an s9 first to familiarize myself, to find out how to reduce the sound to a maximum. Then sold it and moved on to something more efficient

Appreciate the feedback 🫂

Glad I could help

No problem 🙏🏼

Oh new service that’s cool!

I don’t know the L7 that well. In general, wether a miner is worth it or not for you is always dependant on your cost of electricity. I like to use the website asic miner value. I input my cost of electricity (per kWh ) and I decide based on how much money it makes per day vs the cost
