If you love doing something, would you do it for free?

Alternate thought, If you don't get paid well, would you still love doing it? It's okay to charge obnoxiously, if you have mastered and are in love with your work.

Tangent thought, if you want to get paid well for your work and yet looking for free/cheaper options, you are part of the problem.
