There are plenty.
I've almost entirely ditched Google. Most apps have a "sign in using email" as an option. There are alternatives to all Google services, although some aren't as good (maps being the one no one competes well against). In fact, I can't think of a Google app/service where there isn't an alternative.
You just create a separate account with email. No one forces you to use Gmail login. Use simplelogin and make each new account from a masked address.
