You have an identity, your public/private keypair, that you sign events with in a client, thats the piece of software you interact with. The client communicates with relays - servers of the nostr world. And you can use a bitcoin lightning wallet to send and receive sats through a lightning address. Lots of clients support nostr wallet connect or lnhub for this connection.
