What if we redefined 'algo' in the context of Nostr? Algorithm is a generic term anyway.

That's still generic. You're saying function as if it's a single thing. An algorithm that works may actually have multiple components. It's not as simple as just saying "function that does what I want." The point is that it isn't possible with Nostr as it is right now. We have to either change our expectations or use something else. Shifting what we mean by algos may give us something better, even if it isn't the same thing traditional platforms have.
