What if we redefined 'algo' in the context of Nostr? Algorithm is a generic term anyway.

here:

def 1)

function that filters unwanted content

def 2)

function that displays wanted content

That's still generic. You're saying function as if it's a single thing. An algorithm that works may actually have multiple components. It's not as simple as just saying "function that does what I want." The point is that it isn't possible with Nostr as it is right now. We have to either change our expectations or use something else. Shifting what we mean by algos may give us something better, even if it isn't the same thing traditional platforms have.

there is no such thing as nostr founder.

also, nostr doesn't talk.

Pretty sure we have algos on Nostr already. No less useful despite the fact that there is no global.

The nostr protocol already supports some kind of algo through dvms. I think what people are asking for is nostr social clients with a first class dvms support.

I personally don't care much for algos and prefer chronological feeds. Would be great if the ability to create lists directly from nostr social clients is directly supported especially on Android.

The mobile web experience though has been less than ideal in my experience. The native mobile apps are doing a way better job. Could be a limitation with the mobile web platform?

Yeah web and Nostr don’t play well.

I actually quite like jumble.social, even on mobile.

Yeah it is promising. I like how easy it is to view different relay feeds although the algo relay didn't load anything.

Showing feed already follows some algo and we can't have that so can't have nostr in that case...
