I literally only posted my unfiltered stream of consciousness from day 1 and that resulted in a decent enough following, good enough to have satiafying interactions on every note. I can't ask for more.
Of course, I had the fortune of being around ealy (pre-Jack) so that for sure helped a lot. I'm not sure if new accounts face visibility issues or struggle to get interactions 🤔
They absolutely do.
I can see why. Back then we were less than 150 people so everyone used the global feed. It was like a family dinner.
After the huge waves, global became unusable. I have to admit that I rarely get to see newaccounts, only the ones that reply to me.
I think using hashtags is still a good way to get noticed, I'm following several.
My experience with this account and my old one was that it took me months to achieve the same number of followers that I had there in weeks.
