Zap other posts

Leave comments on comments on posts

Follow random people named “plunger” or “kiteseeker”

2. Consistency

Make nostr the default

Skip twitter, LinkedIn, tiktok

Post every single day

3. Add value

Share knowledge

Share advice

Share photos

Share videos

Be funny

Be bold

Be honest

Be yourself

Simple yet difficult.

But very much worth it.

Nostr is the most underrated piece of the internet right now.

It’s the Plymouth Rock of the new internet!

Focus on nostr. 💜

I literally only posted my unfiltered stream of consciousness from day 1 and that resulted in a decent enough following, good enough to have satiafying interactions on every note. I can't ask for more.

Of course, I had the fortune of being around ealy (pre-Jack) so that for sure helped a lot. I'm not sure if new accounts face visibility issues or struggle to get interactions 🤔

I can see why. Back then we were less than 150 people so everyone used the global feed. It was like a family dinner.

After the huge waves, global became unusable. I have to admit that I rarely get to see newaccounts, only the ones that reply to me.

I think using hashtags is still a good way to get noticed, I'm following several.

I just post pictures I make, things I think are cool, and pug pictures. 90% pug pictures I think, actually. Interaction comes naturally with all the great people on the Nostr. And I'm 💯 Nostr only.

Yeah there’s a few ways to look at it.

My following is very small compared to others on here.

But it’s still bigger than any of my other social accounts. I deleted LinkedIn and hardly use twitter (outside of looking at #[3]​ stories every morning for the show).

More time and focus is on nostr because I think it’s the only thing that really matters online. Everything else is just an illusion.

And although it’s not about the “following”, the network aspect is very important.

The bigger your bitcoin network, the less reliance you have on the vampire fiat system.

Whatever you put your energy towards will grow over time.
