Primarily a damus user, but using nostur to track follows. It doesn’t give follow notifications for bots though from what I’ve seen.

I’ve heard good thinks about nostur, you like it?

Yes, the UI is nice. A few different notifications there that are nice too, such as a new post count, followers, etc.

I don’t use it a super ton; I haven’t found a content filter, which I appreciate that damus has.

Filters are huge but I need to try out some more nostr apps, Ty

🤙🏼 nice thing is, if you don’t like one, you delete it and move on. No info lost!

Does Nostur have PUSH notifications or only in-app notifications? Damus, in-app only?

Push being the banner on the iOS homescreen/topbar. In-App being the little notification button that will show past interaction activity, but you have to actually be in the app to access.

Both in-app only from what I’ve noticed so far.

Just turned all the notification settings on for damus, so I’ll confirm that.

Nostur doesn’t have an option to change outside of the app itself.

Good to know! May make a play on this. Thx Beth.

Push on damus confirmed. My bad.

Interesting. Blank text, no title/desc text in banner.

What was it notifying? Comment? Reaction? Zap?

Sorry to bother, I don't have iOS to test myself. lol

No bother! 🤙🏼

Hard to say. There were a few notifications within the app itself. It only seems to push when the app is open 🤔

I’ll test throughout the day and report back.

Very interesting, "in-app push". 🤣

And see where it takes you when you click the banner. That should likely explain what event is being notified. Not sure how they built it though. Might go to generic screen.
