I was a Bitcoiner before Bitcoin existed.
DYOR and Don't Trust Verify were hard baked into me as a child.
Bitcoin is simply the monetary system that confirms who I am.

I am not entirely convinced that the value of Bitcoin can reach zero. Although it can experience a significant drop in value, I believe that there will always be some demand for it in some jurisdiction. As long as there is no political ban, any technical issues can be resolved. It's highly unlikely that the whole world will simultaneously ban Bitcoin. Even if that happens, there will still be an underground scene that uses it through Tor or other private or local networks. Curious to hear other opinions.

Also jailing #Assange for exposing truth. All extremely effective to scare average people. I expect the same with Bitcoin: Endless false flags with Bitcoiners and miners (already banned in China!?) being arrested for cyber crimes, highly publicised to scare off the general public. Bitcoin would not disappear, it would be marginalised, with CBDCs offered als safe and legal alternative. It will work because most people scare easily, see 2020/21 as proof. That's how I would do it. But I do hope I'm wrong.
