i know, communication *can* be hard, but doesn’t your statement somewhat dehumanise people?

there’re reasons they act this way (mostly in how cruel and cynical the world around is)

i found it to be the responsibility of enlightened people to spread the new thoughts and ideas in the most gentle (yet sincere) way possible 🤔

That’s true. Historically and presently there have been deadly consequences for saying/believing the wrong thing

I think it's just the truth. I do agree that we should work to reach as many people we can, & to be as kind & genuine in the process as possible. Had things played out differently in my own life I might very well have been one of the people I am talking about.

Unfortunately, humans are very dangerous animals with a long history of killing people who make them uncomfortable. And critical ideas cannot be meaningfully communicated in a way that will prevent the discomfort of one's own realizations. Some people will actively work to avoid those realizations.

If there are people who simply will not engage with the ideas themselves, then it's probably important to be able to recognize those with "the ears to hear" apart from the deaf & willfully ignorant.

I'm not saying there is absolutely no way to break through, but we are finite, time & energy are limited. I think if we are going to be effective, we have to clearly identify & acknowledge all of the mental blocks/conditions we are up against.

i fully agree!

i also think even the smallest step towards the people is important and valuable. as we say in Russia, water wears away the stone 💜
