No one cares about sats except weirdos. You already have a stable app with decent branding. Mostly what you need is to advertise and shill the heck out of it for long stretches of time. Find a community based reason to get people over, invent a fake one if you have to. Find a way to get funding (maybe you have already) and then buy lots of ad space on social media, search engines, etc.
Thanks to some analysis from our intern nostr:npub17plqkxhsv66g8quxxc9p5t9mxazzn20m426exqnl8lxnh5a4cdns7jezx0 , according to opt-in AppStore analytics one of the biggest issues with Damus is user retention. 99% of people stop using damus after 6 months.
In the next version we will be looking at ways to get mores users to that “ah ha” moment that gets them to stick around like all of us addicts.
Ideas welcome! Notifications is obviously a big one, but maybe we could make it easier to get people their first sats.

After surveying many people, the aha moment for them was zaps. I wouldn’t discount it. It’s the most unique thing about this network.
