Yet 99% of them leave.
mostly because they don’t reach a moment where the app provides value for them. Your making an assumption that zaps are the thing driving people away, but that is not been our experience when talking to people.
most people i follow here are also posting on x. also the universe feed is all over the place and not a very engaging experience for me. i would be on here more if i could easily package/compartmentalize different content for myself to digest (maybe i can and am missing it?) similar to communities on reddit, for example.

Since apple forced zaps away, the stream of zaps faded a lot in my experience. Correlation might not equal causation, but I really look forward a version of damus that has zaps on notes. 🫣
