I have no issue with algorithms. The algorithm is why I can open X (twitter) and see important content in the first 2 seconds rather than scrolling for ages and ages chronologically.
I just want to know how the algorithms work. But overall it is a major convenience to me.

You can’t get away from “the discourse” if you’re on social media. Humans are memetic. Best we can do is offer tools like muted keywords and such
