I see a lot of vanity npubs with multiple leading “q” letters. Is there some significance to choosing that letter?

Every npub starts with “npub1” and then if someone has mined a vanity it will be after that. I’ve come across several with multiple “q” letters after the npub1.

I could be wrong, but the q’s become 0’s when you convert to hex

Most likely just leading zeroes being converted to q’s. Makes more sense that multiple people would randomly choose leading zeroes than leading q’s. Lol

I think that must be it. I converted a couple of them that I’m aware of and the hex versions have leading zeroes
