I’m not a fan of public zap amounts either. Likewise profile badges for the same reasons stated in this thread.

Everything feels so organic without all that.
Potential to distract from the note content, creates divisions and a hierarchy between users in a community rather than building one, and serves no real purpose other than to massage egos.
I'm also unsure of the use of telegram with the ln bit bot but no one seems to want to address that.
