Do you try to avoid seed oils?

I tried to do vegan for 6 months as an experiment and if I’m being honest I felt so terrible, but I think it was mostly because I wasn’t getting 2,000 cals a day.

Anyway I went back to eggs every morning and usually one meal with meat a day and I feel so good again.

Yes, and I cook with olive and avocado oil and usually lots of soy protein (people freak out a little too much re soy when you can eat a comfortably large amount daily without much concern)

Yeah, I eased into it from being a heavy meat eater most of my life, then pescatarian one year, then have been vegan the past 4.

My energy, skin, hair, weight, and cholesterol have all been really good since, but I did a lot of research before hand and take supplements.

A lot of folks who try vegan (not saying you! Just in general) try to do salads, or are eating junk food and just feel hungry or not eating good food.

Both meat eaters and vegans can fall prey to this!

How do you get most of your calories?

I think there is definitely benefits to doing stretches of cutting out animal products for a certain period of time because it seems to reset certain things in your body, would like to give it another shot in the future for a couple months but I need to plan better.
