I’m dieting more in this direction.

Did keto and carnivore for a few years. I think these diets have their place, but not for long-term diet.

Today I ate some fruit for breakfast with a green tea with honey. A piece of homemade peach pie and a chai tea with cream and honey for lunch. Ribeye steak with onions fried in butter with sweat potatoes for dinner. Greek yogurt with fruit for desert with a cup of hot chocolate with cream and honey.

No vegetable oil is allowed in my home in any form. Everything is fresh and homemade (my wife is an excellent cook).

So basically, I’m eating similar to how my grandparents did before they were duped into swapping out animal fats for Crisco and I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter.

THE WAY!!!

Yep! And the best part is it doesn’t feel like dieting. Turns out if you just eat the real food that God gave us, you are healthy and it is delicious. 😋

The big but worthwhile challenge is spending extra time carefully sourcing and stocking your kitchen.
