I'm not sure I know the best ones. Just because someone can identify a wrong answer, doesn't mean they know the solution.

Education is the first one that comes to mind.

Being ostracized from community seems effective. In a venue like this, "block and ignore" is an obvious and effective solution; which is essentially the same.

In the physical world, harrassment comes in many forms, and can be dealt with via law enforcement when rights are violated.

Heck, it looks like there might be more than one solution! (gasp)

What sort of education might best help folks reduce the frequency and intensity of harassment they engage here on #nostr?

I’m less optimistic about the solutions that law enforcement and partitioning ourselves via muting may offer, but I’d love to hear about that as well.

Each context is going to require different education based on the type of harassment. If someone is harassing you because of your sexual preference, that person being educated about cultural differences isn't going to be any different.

If you're thinking that education is going to b# an instant solution, then you're missing the bigger picture.
