Have you tried box breathing. Say four seconds each cycle, inhale, hold, exhale, hold, repeat.

Yes I employ this strat when doing ice baths. It’s great.

When doing ice baths or cold showers, I visualize doing hard segments of climbing, training my mind to not let the signals from my body take over my mind.

That’s amazing. A rare skill for sure.
