That's the key. Bitcoin doesn't need politicians.
So if politicians become dependent on Bitcoin, the people who use Bitcoin gain power over them.
If the state depends on you opening a bank account in bitcoins to collect taxes from you, the state has less power over you. Because you have the ability to decide. In the fiat system you cannot decide.
